IVORY COAST / Cote d'Ivoire


30 fr: The Akee (Blighia sapida) is from the soapberry family and is pictured on a 2000 Flora issue. This species is found throughout W. Africa and is notable for its very fragrant flower. Related to the lychee, it grows a pear-shaped reddish fruit with black seeds.
