ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful site you have featuring stamps of Africa. You’re so lucky to have travelled to more than 75 countries and other places already! I love animals, so its typical that I like to collect animal-themed stamps, which is why your stamp collection made me all the more interested to browse your site longer.
I went to an online stamp catalogue that I usually visit and saw the exact same stamp issued in Seychelles on July 24, 1972. It is called the Seychelles Blue Pigeon (Alectroenas pulcherrima). It’s also called the Seychelles blue fruit dove.
