MAURITIUS / Ile Maurice
R10: the Dombeya spp. is pictured on this 2009 flora issue. This flower's genus is named after the French botanist who embroiled France, Spain and Britian in the so-called Dombey affair, when in 1780 he sent a flora collection to Europe from Peru and the British seized the vessel and impounded the samples.
